The mORL module is a powerful, compact IL/ORL meter (Insertion Loss and optical Return Loss) for use with the JDSU MAP-200 platforms. Capable of supporting up to 4 wavelengths (1310, 1490, 1550 and 1625 nm), it comprises an integrated optical power meter and optional 2x2 switch for conducting automated bi-directional tests.
Based on OTDR technology (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer), it allows for the mandrel-free measurement of 70 cm patchcords with a dynamic range of 80 dB.

The mLCS switches for JDSU MAP-200 platforms were born from JDSU technology and experience in the field of optical instruments to produce switches with a very low insertion loss and high RL. It is available in single-switch configurations up to 1x50, dual independent switch configurations up to 1x25 and dual switch configurations up to 2x16.
